TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: November 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Steady Standards website, subscription service, and related materials (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

ABOUT STEADY STANDARDS

Steady Standards provides reference material, guidance, frameworks, and training content intended to support consistent judgement in customer-facing and operational decision-making.

The Service is designed to support human judgement. It does not replace professional, legal, regulatory, or managerial responsibility.

ELIGIBILITY

You may use the Service if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation
  • Use the Service for lawful business or professional purposes

ACCOUNTS AND ACCESS

To access paid features, you must create an account and maintain accurate, current information.

You are responsible for:

  • All activity conducted under your account
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Ensuring access is limited to authorised users within your organisation
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused or shared improperly.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING

Steady Standards is offered as a recurring subscription.

Key terms:

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly unless otherwise stated)
  • Payments are processed via Shopify and associated payment providers
  • Prices may change with reasonable notice provided in advance
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

USE OF THE SERVICE

You agree to use the Service responsibly and only for its intended purpose.

You must not:

  • Rely on the Service as a sole basis for legal, regulatory, or contractual decisions
  • Represent the Service as automated decision-making or legal advice
  • Copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the content outside your organisation
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform
The Service may evolve. Content may be updated, refined, or expanded as part of ongoing maintenance and improvement.

NATURE OF GUIDANCE AND LIMITATIONS

Steady Standards provides generalised reference material and structured guidance.

It does not:

  • Provide legal advice
  • Guarantee regulatory compliance
  • Replace organisational policies, procedures, or training
  • Remove the need for human judgement
You remain fully responsible for decisions made using or informed by the Service.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content within the Service — including text, frameworks, training scenarios, and design — is owned by or licensed to Steady Standards.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the content internally during an active subscription.

No ownership rights are transferred.

We aim to provide reliable access, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may:
